During your stay at our glamping site you can…

Get Active

Want to get active during your glamping getaway? Delamere is the perfect location to get walking, biking, and exploring!

Should your friends or family wish to come along, to camp or caravan, we highly recommend booking on the campsite.

Whether you want to embark on a short stroll or a long trek, the Sandstone Trail is an excellent choice for exploring the local area. In total, the Sandstone trail spans over 30 miles of the Cheshire countryside. The trail follows Cheshire’s Sandstone ridge and is an exceptional trail for spotting local wildlife, as well as for scoping out some of Cheshire’s historic churches and castles. Avid runners may even be interested in checking out races that take place on the Sandstone trail!

A popular site along the Sandstone Trail is the summit of Pale Heights; you can get a beautiful view of miles of the surrounding area from this spot! The Trail runs through the Delamere forest, and forest trails are designated by a colour-coding system, so you can choose the trail that suits your desired pace and difficulty level.

Delamere Forest also has trails for horse riding and bike paths. If you want to try out a new way to explore the trails, you can even rent a Segway! Go Ape activity centre offers Segway rentals, as well as high rope adventures. Catton Hall activity centre also has a range of outdoor activities, including quad biking and archery and shooting activities. Alternatively, you could take on the water-based obstacle and activity courses and try your hand at wakeboarding or paddleboarding (and more) at Wild Shore Delamere

You can also get behind the wheel of off-road and race vehicles at the Oulton Park Circuit. Land Rover also has a local experience centre, where you can explore Cheshire and hone your off-road driving skills.

Great Restaurants and Pubs

Although set in a peaceful natural landscape, our glamping site still allows you easy access to quality restaurants and pubs. Right within walking distance, the Fishpool Inn offers quality meals and drinks in a charming restaurant setting.
