About Us

Our quiet site, located in central Cheshire, is driven by our goal of sharing the beautiful scenery we enjoy daily with our visitors. The site is designed to help guests relax and enjoy a bit of luxury while getting away into nature. As a local family-owned business, we are invested in getting to know you and making your stay as comfortable as possible.

About the Location of the Cheshire  Site

Our Cheshire  site sits on the edge of the Delamere forest in the heart of Cheshire. Surrounded by the beauty of the Cheshire countryside and the Delamere forest. The site provides a place to relax in the serenity of nature. Although immersed in a rural setting, it is only about 8 miles from Chester and 5 miles from Northwich, making it easily accessible to travellers and locals alike.

About Billy & Joan

Originally from the North West, site owners Billy & Joan fell in love with the beauty of the Delamere forest. Choosing to stay close to nature, they made the area their home. 10 years ago, they acquired the Fishpool Farm Caravan Park, to which the pod site is adjoined. When the couple first launched the holiday park it only had hook-ups for caravans and tents. From this start on, however, Billy and Joan’s vision has been to share the nature and scenery they enjoy daily with visitors from all over.

After the initial launch of the holiday park, Billy and Joan decided to build the pod site. They designed the site to appeal to visitors wanting to enjoy traditional camping activities with a bit of extra luxury. With the site near plenty of local attractions, they knew the pods would be popular among couples and small groups. Billy and Joan aim to provide a warm welcome to all their guests and offer a home away from home experience.

Get Close to Nature

Although not far from larger cities, the setting of our pod site feels a world away. Set among peaceful rolling hills and the edge of the scenic Delamere forest, the site allows you to escape into nature and de-stress. Spend time exploring nature nearby, cooking at the fire pit, enjoying local fishing spots, or simply relaxing at our peaceful site. While you are here, you can watch the seasons change, catch the sunrise or sunset, search for beautiful wild birds and animals, and embark on new adventures at your own pace. There are also several farms, villages, and activity parks nearby that welcome visitors to enjoy a variety of activities.

Safe Haven for Getaways

The site allows you to integrate yourself into nature without sacrificing your comfort. At our site, you will have all the basics you need to stay comfortable, along with some extra luxuries (don’t forget to bring a swimming suit for your private jacuzzi!). Whenever you are ready to recharge indoors, you can come back to catch a film on the television in your pod. Guests are responsible for bringing their own towels and bedding, and everything they would bring for a camping holiday. Bring any other extra important belongings along with you, and rest assured they are safe and secure in your pod while you enjoy the outdoors.

In order to provide the best experience for our guests, the site is only open to adults. We also do not allow dogs on site. The site is also only open to guests with a reservation – no extra visitors are allowed. Because of this, everyone at the site is invested in keeping it tidy.

Family and Work Groups

The pods are the perfect getaway for groups, including family, friends, and work groups. The site’s location can be especially perfect for gathering regional friends/family for events like family reunions or special occasions. The site allows you to choose your ideal balance of outdoor adventure and home-like comforts, everyone in your group can feel at home and explore the surroundings at their own pace. If you decide to embark on a trip with your group, we recommend coordinating who will bring what for the holiday. This will help you pack light and make sure you bring all the supplies you will need/want.

If you are planning to bring a group to our site, please make sure to book well in advance to ensure that you can schedule a team getaway on your preferred days. Our site can accommodate 14 guests at once, with each of our 7 pods housing a maximum of two people.

Our site is near several parks with special offers for groups. Check out the Catton Hall, Go Ape, and Hover Force activity centres for ideas for team-building activities. You can also coordinate activities around the site, or plan hikes and visits to nearby villages and attractions.
